Clouded look
| Difficulty: Beginners Photoshop |
Its right in the middle between a vintage look but also a subtle look as well which can be added to photos, layouts whatever graphics you want to turn into this look.
Its very simple in fact so simple any newbie to photoshop will be able to pull of this look. I'm not sure if you can convert this into paint shop pro but if things are the same please tell me about it below.

| For my example I'm using a very cute picture of J-rocker Miyavi which I found on Google via this site. I'm using this particular picture because its not previously edited with dramatic contrast making the effect I'm about to show you come out more. With that in mind please pick a picture you want to edit and either drag it into photoshop from the folder or go to File> open> and find the picture from there. |
Step 2: Now the the color

Believe it or not this is the icing that makes the cake look yummy or in this case the image look cool. I'm using a darker shade of teal (002D3A) but any dark shade of blue will work creating any look you like most. Experiment with the colors until you like the result, just keep in mind to keep the colors dark and some where in the blue family. Now that you have a nice shade of blue or teal, create a new layer and from there color the layer using the paint bucket . Once the layer is colored its time to change the blending mode. Which can be found in the layers tab on the very top. Its the drop down box with the default words of normal. Click the down arrow and go all the way at the bottom to exclusion. and watch your picture match the one below in color.

Step 3:Finished
