How to take a screen shot

Ever wonder how layout sites have those images of an entire layout> or even a snap shot of their screen? well all it takes is one button. Print Screen /SysRq

But theres more to it. You need some sort of image editing program. Every computer has the Paint program, Which is one way to get your screen shot but any other program like Photoshop and Paint show pro will work too.

1. hit the Print Screen /SysRq button which is located on the very top of the keyboard usually grouped with the following buttons: scroll lock and pause/break.
2. After hitting the button make sure your photo editing program is open. If your using Paint a blank white canvas will be open, if your using Paint Shop Pro and Adobe Photoshop open up a new canvas. From there go to edit > paste and there you go.
